Trash Collection

How to get rid of unwanted items.

Trash collection is on Friday. You must use the trash receptacles provided by the City of Yorba Linda. The black receptacle is for regular trash and the green receptacle is for recyclable items. All trash must be placed in these receptacles. Boxes and other trash placed next to receptacles will not be picked up. Should trash not be picked up on the appropriate day on your street, notify Republic Services at (800) 700-8610.

Receptacles must be put out in front of the garage by 7:00 AM on the day of pickup. Empty receptacles must be returned to the garage before midnight on the pickup day.

The cost of basic rubbish pickup is included in your Association fee.

Bulky Items
Need to get rid of a mattress or old appliance, or have too much trash to fit into your trash receptacles? You can request a special pick up by calling Republic Services at (800) 700-8610. You are allowed three special pick ups each year with up to ten items per pick up. When you make your appointment, be prepared with list of items (including measurements). Appointments for Yorba Linda are made for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday pick ups. Items must be placed next to your garage where you normally place your trash receptacles by 7:00am.
