Reminders about the safety and recreational opportunities
for the children of our community.

Parents, please impress upon your children the need to respect RDTA property, especially the Recreation Area and Common Areas. You will be held responsible for the actions of your children and their guests.
DOs
The Recreational Area at the north end of the complex provides swimming in the Pool Area, plus tennis and basketball in the Tennis Courts Area for older children. For the young ones there is a wading pool in the Pool Area, plus swings and a slide in the Tot Lot Play Area.

Skateboarding, in-line and roller skating, bicycling and riding scooters are allowed on the private streets (asphalt) of the community.

DON'Ts
Do not climb any of the trees or growths in the Common Area.

Do not do skateboarding, in-line skating (roller-blading), roller skating, bicycling or riding scooters on the association's sidewalks and walkways (concrete).

Do not use hockey nets, skate or skateboard ramps in the Common Areas.

Do not store any athletic or play equipment in the Common Areas.

The Yorba Linda community offers numerous activity opportunities for our children, such as after school care, organized sports, clubs, etc.

IV. TREES, SHRUBBERY AND TREE CLIMBING
4. The climbing of any of the trees or shrubbery in the Common Area of the Association (greenbelt, dog run, perimeter areas and yards) is strictly prohibited. This activity presents a potential for liability and may cause irreparable damage to the plants. The cost for repairing any damage caused by the climbing of trees or growths by any resident shall be an assessment levied against their Association account.

V. ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT
1. Skateboarding, in-line skateing (roller-blading), roller skating, bicycling or riding scooters are not permitted on the Association's sidewalks and walkways (concrete). Persons wearing skates, either in-line or regular, may walk on the walkways and sidewalks in their skates while going to their front door to remove skates and safety equipment.
2. Skateboarding, in-line and roller skating, bicycling and riding scooters are allowed on the private streets (asphalt) of the community. Appropriate safety equipment should be worn. Helmets are required when bicycling. The Association assumes no responsibility for injury or damage involved with these activities.
3. Unlicensed motorized skateboards or scooters or any off-road vehicles are not permitted within the complex.
4. Athletic-related equipment, such as hockey nets, skate or skateboard ramps, are prohibited. Use of this type of equipment may result in fines being levied against the resident's Association account without warning if such violation is reported by any of the following: member(s) of the Board of Directors, Property Management Company agent or Association's Security Service. Residents who observe violations should contact the Property Management Company for action to be taken by the Association. Members who receive fines for these violations will have the right to appeal the fine to the Board of Directors in a closed session of the Board.
5. Portable basketball hoops may be used, but may not be left out overnight.

VII. LOITERING
No person under the age of eighteen (18) is allowed to loiter on the association's private streets or anywhere on the Common Area after 10:00 PM, seven days a week.
